Christian Weissenborn, born in 1972, has been working as a translator and interpreter in Madrid, Spain, for the past twenty years.
He is the father of two and the husband of a Madrileña.
While completing his degree in interpretation and translation for Spanish, French and Russian at the University of Leipzig, he broadened his specialised knowledge while studying in Russia (State Linguistic Universities in Pyatigorsk and Moscow) and in Switzerland (École de Traduction et d’Interprétation, Geneva).
Weissenborn is a lecturer for Translation studies and Translational competence at AKAD University Stuttgart.
